Forever Redwood has over 100 different tables for most every budget. If you don't see the style or size you like, let us know what you have in mind and we'll build it for you.
The standard tabletop option is our most popular. It is ideal for outdoors because the tabletop boards are separated 1/16th of an inch from one another to create the room they need to "breathe" as they expand and contract with the constant changes in moisture and temperature outdoors.
Our seamless tabletop option is ideal for covered patios or indoors. It can be taken outdoors for a meal or party but isn't designed for permanent outdoor living. The seamless construction creates a beautiful unbroken tabletop surface that is just as strong as our standard tabletop. But the seamless design does not allow the tabletop boards the "breathing" room to expand and contract to the constant changes in moisture and temperature outdoors.

You can order any Picnic or Patio table with a Parquet Tabletop. The Parquet Tabletop is made with many contrasting smaller pieces of wood. Construction of the parquet top is a labor intensive process that results in a beautiful and very strong tabletop. The Parquet top is a seamless design recommended for indoor or covered patio use. Not recommended for extended outdoor use. Any table can be made in the parquet design. The choice is available at checkout with no additional charge.
Our Old Country Tabletop option is an old European design that can be used either outdoors or indoors. For indoors, choose a seamless tabletop design with no spacing between the boards. For year round outdoor use, please choose the standard tabletop design (1/16" spacing between the boards) to let the boards move with the changing temperature and moisture.
Another no-cost custom option is to have the corners of your table and benches either be squared (technically, 3/16" radius, for structural soundness), slightly rounded (1/26" radius), or fully rounded (16" radius). The photos show an 8-Foot Picnic Table on the left with squared corners, and our Kid's Picnic Tables in the middle with fully rounded corners (16" radius). The 1/26" radius rounding is a compromise between the two (see image at right). Choose your rounding preference at checkout.
Want to enjoy an umbrella with your table? We do not sell umbrellas, but we will drill a two-inch umbrella hole for you at no charge. The choice of hole/no hole is made at check-out. A plug is included with the umbrella hole option—see images above.
If you are interested in the Traditional Picnic Bench Style (with criss-cross legs—see above), the option is available at checkout at no extra charge.
Our more popular picnic table leg design is the flairing Forever design. It is a bit more stable because it has a wider footprint than the criss-cross traditional design:
Our 8-Foot Picnic Tables can be easily altered to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Accessibility Design standards at no extra cost (see photos above). The 8-Foot Picnic Table is the most popular size chosen for ADA applications. The ADA accessible option is not available with shorter tables, but can be incorporated into tables 8 ft and longer at no extra cost.

ADA tables have been purchased by many city and state parks as well as the US Forest Service. They allow full access to all public visitors. They are available for private homes as well.
If you require a specific color or stain, we also offer a coffee-colored stain and oil-based primer options (if you are going to paint the kit). You can save money and order your kit unfinished (thoroughly sanded and left ready for whatever treatment you'd like to apply). Since 1995, we've shipped over 3000 table sets of all sizes and shapes. Most tables require a custom detail or two. We've done it for years and are happy to help make sure your set works perfectly.
For example, if you plan on using your table for an occasional large family gathering, the chart below will tell you how many average sized adults can sit around the different sized tables to eat comfortably with plenty of elbow room. Also, if you plan to leave your food platters on the table, we recommend making your rectangular tables a bit wider to not crimp the place settings opposite the food platters. Usually a 42-inch tabletop width works well. It is often best to go wider than longer to maximize tabletop space.
Capacities listed below were calculated using 36"W tabletops for tables up to and including 12-Foot, and 48"W for 14-Foot.

The Forever Picnic Tables are our most popular. Available in rectangular and round designs with benches attached or separate. The rectangular sets are available from 4 ft to 14 ft lengths with tabletops from 30 to 60 inches wide.
The Round Picnic Table Sets are available with tabletops from 4 ft to 5 1/2 ft in diameter. The benches can either be attached as shown above or separate as shown above.

Large Oval Picnic Table |
A variation on the Round table is our Octagonal Tables. Also available with benches attached or separate and in diameters from 4 to 5 1/2 ft.
An elegant mixture between the round and the rectangular table sets is our Oval Picnic Tables. Also available in several sizes and with benches either attached or separate.
Last, but definitely not least among the Picnic Tables is our Heritage Line. Our Heritage Picnic Table line is truly special. We build only a couple dozen sets each year. The Heritage sets have identical dimensions, weight and design details to our Forever Rectangular Picnic table sets, with only one difference:
The Heritage table and bench tops are built with twelve-inch wide boards while the Forever sets use six-inch wide boards. Twelve-inch wide furniture grade lumber (vertical grain lumber, clear or nearly clear of knots) is now rare and costly due to poor forestry practices worldwide. Forever Redwood is the only company still making these exquisite tables. They are only available in our reclaimed Old-Growth Redwood (30-year decay warranty). Can be made from 4 to 14 ft in length and with any seating arrangement you’d like (benches, chairs or combination of both).

Our Rectangular Patio Tables are the most popular of our dining tables. Available from 4 to 15 ft lengths, all dining tables can be purchased alone or with chairs or benches or a combination of the two.
The Round Patio Tables are available from 2.5 ft to 6 ft diameters. The most popular seating is chairs, but they are occasionally order with benches.

Forever Redwood is dedicated to restoring logged forestlands back to their ancient form. Restoration forestry works with the forest to grow large and old trees over time and maintain them in perpetuity. Forests of large trees sequester enormous quantities of carbon from the atmosphere. Consistently increasing and permanent carbon sequestration adds to climactic stability and global cooling. Also, allowing ancient trees to return to the forests in perpetuity helps reverse biological diversity declines by recreating old-growth habitat.
